Right now I am so so so pissed. The us mail is a joke. I went to mail my #summersantgoespostal and get told I can't mail it Book rate because it rattles (okay that one I actually know but I had to try). Then I have these small prize envelopes to mail out for #booklove17 (found some I forgot to mail sooty guys) and they were already stamped and ready to go and I got told I had to add more postage. WTF. I get told something new every time. ⬇️
LibrarianRyan First photo challenge I was told I had to use a specific size enevelope or it costs more (even though this was a pretty standard card size. Second photo challenge I was told enevelope could not be wider than 1/4 and inch while I watched the hand feed every enevelope through this little slot. $.40 extra on all of those. Now I just mailed some long lost bookmarks and got told because the contents are not uniform in size it's and extra $0.21 each. ⬇️ 8y
LibrarianRyan For book marks. I tried to tell the lady I already sent over 40 of the dang things. No I didn't get any of them back. And unless you all have not told me no one had to pay to pick their up. If this is the case and you had to pay for something I sent you please PM me and I will reimburse. This is why so many businesses do t use the post office. Ughhhhhhhhhhhjjjhjj👿👹👿☠️ 8y

LibrarianRyan @Captivatedbybooks all post offices should have the same rules. Plus these people see me often enough. It just kills me because I mailed over 40 already no problems. But these last 5 there are problems. And I have another 40+ things to mail the end of this week. There is a reason the us post office has a bad rep. The person who delivers to me is excellent but the desk people are not. 8y

Kaitlyn.keith.529 The one in our town is good but some friends of ours who live about 20-30 minutes away have an awful post office. They drive all the way to ours to mail things out instead of going to their local one. 8y
maich @Kaitlyn.keith.529 I do the same. Our small local post office have unfrienlly people, open are only 2hours every day... I drive into the town where is big post office open the whole day. And people are very nice. 8y
