When Lydia‘s fiancée passes away unexpectedly, her world comes crashing down. One night she takes a pill to help her sleep and her deceased fiancée appears in her dreams. Is her mind playing tricks on her or is it something more? This had a lot of promise with Lydia leading parallel lives. However, they squandered an opportunity to explore the importance of the premise. Lydia had one foot in each world, but neither seemed to make her happy.
rjsthumbelina Agreed. It felt like she could have used some really good editing. There was so much room for interesting/important conversations, and she missed the mark and went for fluffy romance, which didn't really mix with the story 4y
Purrfectpages @rjsthumbelina yes, it was a disappointing mess considering how much I liked her other book. 4y
kspenmoll Great review- i was also disappointed, disenchanted- would have Bailed but for #summerbuddyread discussions! 4y
Purrfectpages @kspenmoll yes I‘ll tend to push through if it‘s for book club, so I get it! 4y
