A library book. It needs to be back by 7 April as there are 45 people behind me on the reservation list, so I better get a move on! I do enjoy Jojo Moyes‘ books.

Ohhh, I liked this. There‘s nothing really big or exciting in this story of what defines family after death and divorces, but there are some really sweet moments. I think for most of us life is really about those sweet moments. So different from my previously reviewed book which was also devoid of the big moments 🤣
Isn‘t it great 👍 when you pick up a brand new spreyed edge copy in your local charity bookshop 🤩#littlethings
Holy shit I thought this book was never gonna end. It just went on and on and then on some more. It could easily lose 150-175 pages.
On the other hand, I liked the characters and even the story when it found its way out of the jungle of extraneous nonsense.

I had fun meeting JoJo Moyes last night at Quail Ridge Books. She was so funny! This was one of the only stops on her US book tour. I also like the sign in the mantle behind us.

Preorders arrived just as it started dumping snow. I'll be curled up on the couch enjoying a perfect Saturday 😁
