This was announced yesterday. I feel like someone canceled my Super Bowl.

Also, San Antonio Public Libraries are closed for at least the next week. I imagine that will be extended. If I were going to go somewhere, I don‘t know where I would go. #sapl #sanantonio #sabookfest

P.S. I‘m aware in the midst of everything going on this maybe isn‘t a big deal, but I‘m still bummed.

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I think it's perfectly normal to be bummed. It was something you were looking forward to. I was supposed to go to a wrestling event in 10 days and that is canceled. 5y

Aloisi_tribe San Antonio has a huge festival every April called Fiesta. It‘s a week of parades and concerts and good fair food. Businesses and cities around San Antonio design the medals that are sold, worn, and traded over the whole month of April before Fiesta. They‘re kind of like the country pins at the Olympics. I‘ll have to take a picture of my collection later today. @Kaye 7y

I have already read a number of Linda Castillo‘s books but it was cool to see her in person. Tagged book is the latest in her series.

Jason Reynolds is awesome! If you have the chance to hear him speak, go!

I also saw Paula Poundstone and she was hilarious.
