I‘ve officially read all of Jane Austen‘s novels! I‘ve read (or reread) five of them these past 12 weeks for my Jane Austen class. We‘ll be watching Sense and Sensibility in class soon.

Mansfield Park, however wasn‘t the best. Fanny is the least interesting JA heroine in my opinion. Mostly tho, I just feel bad for her. 😔

Procrastinating on my homework. This class is so hard. 😩 It‘s called Anthropology of Biomedicine. I was supposed to be in a different class but it got cancelled last minute and replaced with this one so I just stayed in it bc it fulfills a credit. We‘re starting a unit on folklore in my Mexican American Culture class and are reading a chapter of this book as an intro to the topic.

I learned a new word. Latrinalia-writings on the walls of public bathrooms. 🚽 It‘s a form of folklore.

I think one of the reasons it was hard for me to get into this book was the narrator of my audiobook.

It‘s another one for my Jane Austen class. We used Persuasion to look at social and economic status in those times.

Also, anytime the Hayters are mentioned in class everyone giggles bc it‘s just too funny. The professor even takes part in the fun. Hayters gonna hayte. 😂
