pickA micro history of oysters and how they grew /died with the rise of New York. The cover I have does not have the bit about New York, so I was a bit thrown at the amount of content it had.
Overall interesting and I definitely learnt alot about these bivalves.

pickSlowly made my way through this history and resource on oysters in North America and thought it was one of the better references on the subject I've read. Really would recommend if you're interested in these wonderful sea crustaceans - especially eating them :)
