Part work-read & part personal-read to support a family member. Evidence based. Easy to follow plan for dealing with binge eating. Recommended 👍🏼.

I can‘t just dive into something like weight loss, I have to read about it and research it thoroughly first. But I do need to lose weight so I‘m diving into books (not diet books or self-help though) that might help change my mindset about food. This one is up first.

zezeki I've read an interesting book earlier this year, it is a bit self help I suppose, but it does try to change mindset about food, and I picked a couple of good advice from it. If you're interested, it's called 4y

Simple advice. Not always easy to follow.

1. Eat when you‘re hungry.
2. Eat what your body wants.
3. Stop eating when your body has had enough.
4. Eat sitting down.
5. Eat without distractions.
6. Eat in full view of others/without hiding or secrecy.
7. Eat with enjoyment.

A good resource to help heal a bad relationship with food.

Mostly about the scientist working to make food the most addictive.

BarbaraTheBibliophage This one blew my mind, and made me even more committed to cooking at home. Well, okay, to getting my husband to cook at home. 😜 7y

Seems appropriate that I was just considering ordering a takeaway and bing shopping on etsy #thespiritlevel #indulgence #food #overeating #emotional
