Pickpick

I struggled with this book and will probably wait a while to continue the series. BUT I also had trouble putting it down because I really wanted to know what was coming next. Characters are believable and the world is well-built. Some of it strains credulity - it is a post-apocalyptic story, though it‘s more believable than it might have been last year.

Note: scavenging for supplies seems more realistic given the great TP debacle of 2020.

Perhaps a post-apocalyptic romance set in a world decimated by bacteria that kills or warps billions of people, with a president who‘s unhinged and homicidal...wasn‘t the best choice. I‘m about 2/3 through and it‘s good, but I‘m also struggling with it in ways I wouldn‘t have a year ago.

Megabooks I bet! 4y

This is not the book to read during a major viral outbreak. #virus #ya #outbreak

saguarosally @LiteraryinLititz I found some sanitizer. The scent is hideous. I am using it (externally) liberally, likely too liberally. 5y
