Cinfhen I‘m waiting to speak with surgeon, my youngest got injured on his teen trip and needed emergency surgery on his hand 😥😥😥I feel terrible as I‘m 5000 miles away and worried sick. All I know is he‘s out of surgery & still in the recovery room. @Kalalalatja @TrishB sometimes being a parent is too stressful 6y

Cinfhen Thank you, friends...still have not spoken to surgeon its 12:30am in NZ and I‘ve reached the nurses station who would only say he‘s resting comfortably and surgery went well. Haven‘t spoken with my son as he is still groggy and a bit out of it @MicheleinPhilly @TrishB @Kalalalatja #WaitingSucks 6y

Cinfhen Thank you!!! STILL NOT spoken to dr or my son - it‘s now 4am in NZ , nurse told me Dr. would be making rounds between 7-8am but I did speak to the staff member who was with my son during surgery and he said “Zach was in good spirits & a real trooper.” He also said he‘s pretty annoyed that he‘s missing days and just wants to get back to his friends @emilyhaldi @Jas16 @Nerdgirl_Ms_Sorrells so I‘m taking all that as a good sign 😃 6y

Cinfhen Thank you all!! I did speak to dr & son. Surgery went well, next 48 hrs are very important ( need to make sure blood flow & mobility has been restored to injured hand) for now he׳s in good spirits and yea some pain meds (🤪) He‘s looking forward to rejoining his group tomorrow night (Saturday) hand is in a cast and limited activity but Thank God it could have been much worse!! I truly appreciated all the #LitsyLove 6y

Cinfhen Thanks sooooo much @Centique He had surgery in Invercargill. Now he‘s back in Queenstown. He flys tomorrow evening to Melbourne to join the others. He seems to be fine just disappointed that for the rest of his trip he will be limited to almost all the activities. We are just grateful for the wonderful care he was given. I appreciate your kind offer, Jo!! 😘 💜 6y
