pickThis series was amazing, and unexpected, and so clever. It's hard to describe how much I love it. It was gritty and dark and full of villians but just wonderful. Reading it makes you want to fist pump and then cower in terror and then fist pump some more. Tied with A Court of Mist and Fury for the best book I read last year.

so-soI felt like there was so much room for intense action in the plot but instead our main character spend gobs of time lounging around in her room. But everyone promised the seriese got better and better as it went on, and I loved ACOMAF so much that I was willing to believe them... I. Finally plowed ahead and it did not disappoint, but it took a bit to really get going.

pickThis might be an unpopular opinion but I had a hard time getting into this book and the first half dragged pretty hard core for me, but then the second half was amazing and "A Court of Mist and Fury" totally stole my heart.
