Mehso-so

Admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of second chance romances, but I think I would have struggled with this one even if it wasn‘t that trope. I found both Pearl and Cord to be underdeveloped characters and never fully understood their attraction to each other (outside of lust).

Fontaine has a unique voice and story. Glad I‘m finally giving her book a go!! #netgalleycatchup #whydoigetsobehind

Using Scribd for this one, since I‘m still catching up on ARCs. (Soo behind!) Maybe I‘ll be able to manage this after listening to the vivacious and verbose (in the best sense) Mrs. Obama.

Alfoster Mixed reviews on this one but I really liked it! 6y

BarbaraTheBibliophage @Itchyfeetreader Awesome! I hope you enjoy Becoming! 6y
Megabooks I liked it, but not as much as Red Clocks or The Power. It‘s still really good though. 6y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Megabooks so far I like it better than The Power. But it‘s also feeling very derivative and Atwoodian (I just made that word up). Still, I‘ve been drawn in and will likely finish it in the next day. 6y
Megabooks @BarbaraTheBibliophage That should be a word if it‘s not! I enjoyed Vox, but definitely agree it‘s not the most original book. 6y
