Yesterday was National Book Day but it's never too late to share what I'm reading! #NationalBookDay
Been in waiting rooms all day! This has been my companion.

Happy #NationalBookDay !!! 📚Check out my latest Campfire Read Review: History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund at www.campfirereads.com
Of course I had to walk through the bookstore to get to Starbucks but I was strong and just took a picture. I already own the book 😀 #nationalbookday
Look what I did today!!! My first ever library card!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁I had never really considered using the library before but the Litsy community showed me how wonderful an asset it can be and I can't wait to start checking out books!! Seemed fitting for #nationalbookday
So I see its #NationalBookDay which should send Litsy into a frenzy. This is a picture from Bruised Apple Books in Peekskill, NY. I love this used bookstore and try to get there every time I visit my mother-in-law. My personal library always grows when I make a stop there. Bonus points for how cozy this place is.
For #NationalBookDay, I'm showing that every part of my house is covered with books. I'm also plugging my brother's book, Before The Law, which discusses animal studies and biopolitics. A professor at Rice University in Houston, Cary frequently writes things inaccessible to me; out of my frame of reference and even comfort zone. This, however, is accessible and perhaps critical to anyone interested in the human/non-human animal relationship.
