My niece told me to read this and so I did. It is a cute graphic novel that delves into the lives of a bunch of people playing in a soccer league. There are diverse characters - including trans and queer kids - and lovely themes of friendship. I would have read a separate book on each kid - it felt like it jumped around a bit more than I would have liked. I did quite enjoy it! #middlereaders #queerbooks #transbooks

Nute I love when we get entertainment recommendations from the younger people in our lives. My niece recommends books on occasion and my nephew enjoys advising me on keeping current with music!😃 5y
