I wish I would‘ve bailed on this one... this historical novel set in one day in San Francisco has an interesting concept at its heart, but between the alienating writing style, the unsympathetic characters and the dissatisfying climax, I can‘t find much to redeem this one! It‘s a downer of a read and all the characters display the opposite of #AlwaysLookOnTheBrightSideOfLife #MelodiusMusicals @CrowCAH
