pickThis book seriously made me love Simu Liu even more than I already did. This made me laugh in multiple places. The acknowledgments made me cry, only partly because he was pretty much crying. This was a real rollercoaster. Highly recommend.
Now if Owala would make me a Shang-Chi water bottle, I will be ready for the sequel.

My high school mascot was the colonels, and I feel this so hard! Every foreign language teacher would try to teach us the word for colonel in whatever language. We also talked about how the English version made no sense! I cannot imagine trying to learn this word as someone from a completely different language group.

I loved Shang-Chi so much, the second I saw this I had to have it. I‘ve been giving my brain a break (or a total escape) lately, I just feel like it‘s time for this. I need a happy, but true story... I also need a good distraction from waiting for Tuesday to roll around... eventually.
