BookishMadHatter @Kitta pretty sure it's gonna be a Christmas present for someone's kid. For the first time yet, I had quite a few ppl asking for leafs hats at my last market 3mo

BookishMadHatter @LeahBergen normally 1.5 hours but there was still some wind and ocean swell so it took around 2, which isn't too bad at all. It was the first crossing since Thursday (we were booked for Friday morning) and it may not go again tomorrow 1y

BookishMadHatter @LeahBergen my middle child gets sick sometimes, but I knew it would be a rough crossing and gave both who were with me seasick medicine beforehand 1y

Tsar of Love and Techno: Stories | Anthony Marra

Confession: it has been more than two months since I last finished a book, possibly the longest I've gone in my entire life. Part of that is directly attributable to the insanity of preparing our house for sale and a bad time at work. Part of it is due to resurrecting my knitting hobby. During the last few months it has grounded me, providing row by row evidence that I can be successful at something at a time when I control little else.

Zelma Those are all very good reasons for not reading. Don't worry or overthink it; it happens in life. I had a dry spell last year when my father-in-law was sick. 8y
