Captivatedbybooks I play a game on my phone that has short stories with it called Hidden CIty but im interested in this! 6y
tessavi There are story telling games like Tales of the Arabian Nights & Once Upon a Time. Personally I love Hardback & Paperback, which are word games, kinda like scrabble. There are also library themed games like Ex Libris, but haven't played that one. 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @Captivatedbybooks ooh I'll check that out! 6y

Whimsical.Curiosity @tessavi oh good to know, I'm not a big fan of Once Upon a Time. I'll check it Hardback & Paperback for sure. Library themed how? 6y
Soubhiville I have one called Bring Your Own Book, and it‘s pretty fun. You use a book of your choosing to answer the questions... 6y
tournevis @Soubhiville @tessavi I second Bring Your Own Book. As well as Hardback, Paperback and Once Upon a Time, though the replayability of the latter is finite. 6y
tournevis @Whimsical.Curiosity @tessavi In quite different ways, both games are card drafting and deck crafting games, wherein you use letters to make words and therefore points. Both games have categories associated with books and genres, which affect points. For example, in Hardback, you ca use ink and whiteout to help you make better words. 6y
tournevis For a barebones word game, I humbly suggest Logomachy, a late 19th trick taking game about making words. The game has been out or print for decades, but I put print and play files on Boardgamegeek. https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/168937/logomachy-original-english-pnp-cards 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @Soubhiville oh that sounds awesome! Adding to my wishlist. 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @tournevis ok that is friggin cool! I love word games and puzzles that are unique. I'll definitely get Logomachy. My family loves card games. Boardgamegeek is my favorite! Thanks a ton! 6y
