Love this book without its dust jacket!!!

She quietly slips off her ... dust jacket. She‘s been waiting to do this all evening. Revealed underneath is the sexy, yet elegant gray naked cover.

I love gray. There is really nothing sexy about this naked book except for that. No texture - smooth surface. But it‘s gray and that‘s sexy enough for me.

I saw a post today with a photo of The Wicked Deep (naked) that inspired this fun!

This book is stunning. Beautifully designed, with an almost mesmerizing cover and dust jacket, and small illustrations that add to the slight creepy feel. The synopsis sounded very intriguing, and the book *almost* delivered. But in the end, it was mostly romance. Dark, sad, and a bit creepy, but romance nevertheless. So I feel slightly disappointed, but I didn‘t dislike it — the characterization, world building and back story were pretty good.
