The Roads to Rome: A Cookbook | Jarrett Wrisley, Paolo Vitaletti

Pickpick

I usually don‘t “read”cookbooks but ,do I have travel plans ? No! Do I feel safe dining out ?No !This beautiful book explains that Roman cooking is so delicious because of the wonderful ingredients made /grown by the artisans & farmers along the old trade routes to/from Rome . Beautiful photos & great stories throughout. This cookbook does feature snout to tail cooking, some people want to skip those pages! Though I admire little goes to waste.

SamAnne Looks really interesting. 4y
Leftcoastzen @SamAnne It was ! One of the authors has family in the area, adds to the charm! 4y
Come-read-with-me This looks really good. I don‘t usually read cookbooks either, but I really love exploring them! 4y

Gazza: My Story | Paul Gascoigne

This was a great “no holds barred” read about an absolute legend written by an absolute legend. Gazza is a truly remarkable and troubled individual, I couldn‘t put this one down. #justfinished #gazza #paulgascoigne #livinglegend #autobiography #readbooks #drinkbeer #upthebooknerds #punkswhoread #football #footballlegends #soccer #newcastleunited #spurs #england #lazio #locallegends
