pickFollows the Sherwood Rangers, a British tank division from D-Day through the end of WW2. Holland is clearly well researched as he tries to introduce us to as many of the men as he can. Unfortunately, so many died that by the time a new solider is mentioned, they are killed. It‘s an awesome attempt at telling the stories of many soldiers who‘d otherwise be forgotten. But I was left with a new appreciation for the bravery of WW2.
Just watched the movie and now I want to read about Dunkirk. This evacuation brought out the best and worst in people.
