Finally read this play and was very underwhelmed and unimpressed. It all felt very hasty, pointless, and lacking in character development. I did like some aspects of it, primarily the time traveling, but it‘s really not good. I found this haunted house story to be genuinely terrifying at times, and impossible to put down. However, the dialogue between the characters was completely unbelievable, and the characters were mostly one dimensional. There are some sickening plot points, but it was the ending that didn‘t work for me and moved it to so-so. Over the top, overdone, inexplicable. It fell apart and stopped being scary and felt silly. #klausthekitten #catsoflitsy

I liked this fictional account of an actual event, the Donner Party and their ill fated crossing of the Sierra Nevadas in the winter of 1846. Here, the author imagines the cannibalism that occurred with an even more horrific twist. I liked the descriptions of life on a wagon train...amazing what people went through to seek out a better life for their families. A silly rom com that reminded me of a Hallmark movie. A little cheesy, a lot sappy, but a fun view into a love at first sight will they or won‘t they relationship. Utterly predictable, but I still enjoyed it as I was in the mood for something light and fluffy. Read it for book club and most people did not like it. #catsoflitsy #kittensoflitsy #klausthekitten
