Oh my gosh! This book is making me want to cry in frustration because the next one isn't out. I loved the atmosphere, the politics, the kick ass girl gang. It was fabulous!!! Anyone who loves intrigue and a kick ass gang of girls needs to read this book and Ace of Shades pronto.

I cannot begin to express how much I love this main character!
First, she kills a man with her shoe and puts it back on, applies her lipstick and goes to gamble.
Next, she wears pearls when she's killing or making deals.
It is such a relief to find a character that takes pride in the ruffles, pearls, and lace.

I planned on finishing this book last night but I got caught up in the Santa Clarita Diet and lost track of time 🤷‍♀️ So....I put together an easy supper, told everyone to leave me alone and I'm hibernating on my couch for the night and digging in! Shouldn't be hard to finish because it's soooo good!
