Sons pick- the blurb says ‘if you like Gone Girl and Girl on the Train‘ which always makes my heart sink as I didn‘t like either. BUT, I did enjoy this, good twists, good characters (didn‘t necessarily like all of them but well written in the story!). A quick, easy thriller to read. I did guess the end but that was fine too!
TheKidUpstairs I feel like any thriller will be described in that way. They sold lots of books, so the marketing department wants to make the comparison! 7y

TheKidUpstairs @TrishB it's a major pet peeve of mine. Anything remotely magical gets "if you loved Harry Potter", thrillers get this shit, etc. I try to ignore it all. But I've been sucked in by some crazy ones myself, so I understand why they do it. 7y
