A tough one - Freda leaves her toddler alone for a few hours and ends up in a dystopian 1 year programme to retrain her and others into good motherhood. Some of this was really captivating and there is clearly a social commentary that I enjoyed BUT didn‘t feel the world was well built, how did they get there? Why was no one interested in where these women were? Does mean I hit my #jubilentjuly goal of daily reading !

pickI read #OITNB by #PiperKerman a couple years ago and loved it. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you like the show and haven't read the book, I highly recommend it. The show adds completely new plot lines and drama to the story beginning as far back as season one, but both are great! I'm about halfway through #SeasonFive and I'm not ready for it to be over. Waiting a year between seasons is tough! The real Voss's #OutofOrange is on my #TBR list. #Netflix
