4⭐ This book is as pleasing to look at as it is to read. I love all the form poems within the work. While Bull was amusing, this work is definitely darker and sadder. The poems are strong and do an apt job of paying tribute to the tragic story of Joan of Arc.

#BookReport
Managed to finish two books this week. One was my commute audiobook and the other was an impulse read.

#WeeklyForecast
I'm still struggling with my physical book and the book club book for work so I'm going to have to use the holiday weekend to push through on those. I also need to find another commute audiobook to commit to.

Loads of fun with the crew of St. Mary's. I think the OTTness is what makes me love these so much. Definitely not stand alone though. It's been a while since I've read the earlier ones so I had to find summaries to refresh my memory.

After her brilliant, artist father died on 9/11, Joan ended up giving up most of her dreams only to find herself, 9 years later, in a boring job and a boring marriage. Her marriage implodes and she accepts a job couriering some art to Paris only to have it stolen and replaced with pages from her dad's missing notebooks. She and her one night stand end up on a treasure hunt around Paris to get the art back and find out who has her dad's notebooks.

Book 24📚 3.8⭐️

Finally jumped into this ARC I received last year and I will say by the end I was more confused than at the beginning! I assume there will be a book 2? I need answers!

It is quite a wordy novel and current on pronouns, even for the AI‘s / the “aliens”(?) I‘m not quite sure what everything is honestly😂

If you like sci-fi, check this out! And then help me understand haha. It‘s intriguing.

I got this book from a flea market back in 2016, finally got around to reading it. Almost halfway through the book, Joan hasn‘t saved France yet. But it‘s a really good read so far. Very promising!

TieDyeDude I listened to the audio and loved it! It is a very different kind of book from Twain, but still very much Twain :) 12mo

Historic fiction is by far my favorite genre and this book did not fail to deliver. I was heartbroken, inspired, and most importantly, challenged as to how far I myself would go for what I believe to be truth. Regardless of whether you hold to the beliefs of this Maiden, I would highly recommend giving this book a chance and allowing yourself to experience her life of victory and horror. #52challenge

I borrowed this book from my mom and stepdad, I did enjoy this book. I have an interest in Joan of Arc. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.
