They are gathered in this wonderful collection to remind us of the poetic and powerful workings of his incredible mind and adventurous spirit. The essays are divided into three sections - Food, Travel and Sport, and Literary Matters. Highly recommended.
pickA magnificent long collection of poems by the always impressive Jim Harrison. Published in 1998, it obviously does not include his later work before his death, so it serves as a wonderful introduction to his earlier poetry and his constant evolution, always trying new forms to express his worldview. Highest recommendation.
pickA beautiful collection by a wonderful poet. "The Theory & Practice of Rivers" is a long poem that takes up about half the book and one of Harrison's masterpieces. Highly recommended.
