I'm starting my witchy/spooky season reading off with a fluffy one. The story is super cute, but I was throughly annoyed with the way the characters are written and the fact that the spiciness is incogruous with that. It's such a weird combination for descriptions. Not bad, but definitely not great. #52-2024

Cute, slightly steamy paranormal rom-com. A great palette cleanser between giant sci-fi/fantasy reads. 4⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Didn‘t think I‘d ever read witchy romance, but here I am feeling October festive, and needing a palate cleanser for all the disturbing Stephen King I‘ve been reading. This was actually super cute. I don‘t know shit about witch lore, but the banter was fun, and the storyline felt reasonable. LOVED the Golden Girls references. I‘m a Dorothy ….

I think all the witches in this series mostly qualify for #BadBossDay with all of their demands & the energy draining of their familiars although the heroes tend to redeem themselves…

Quick & fun follow-up to Go Hex Yourself. I didn‘t love it but I liked it enough. It‘s a grumpy sunshine pairing & although Penny‘s immaturity was a bit annoying when combined with her sunshine, she has a pet squirrel 🐿️ which I always love. It also netted me points for #Scarathlon Team #SpookyGhostClub 👻🖤👻including 20 for a spooky/seasonal book + 186 #ScarathlonWordSearch words for 1860 points + 1 for participation. This pic is from Sunday when after brunch, I stopped by Starbucks drive-the on the way home & got my #FaveFallDrink an iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato 🍎☕️ & spent time with one of my current October reads on Kindle, second in a series. I love this drink hot as well- it‘s just WAY too warm for that right now. (I was on top of my fuzzy blanket.)😅
