I cannot recommend this book enough. While there are lots of books about the healing properties of herbs, this one stands out above the rest. Not only is the information within backed up with lists of scientific journals, but the author also gives you reasons why the supplements work, what they shift in the body in order to treat imbalances. The author gives possible side effects, so you can make an educated choice. They also teach you ⬇️

slategreyskies (Cont.) how to read labels to accurately choose the correct supplements, AND they also give you recommended dosages according to studies that have been done. This book is a game changer. I‘m so thankful that my friend lent me her copy of it, as I‘m not sure I‘d have come across it on my own. I purchased a copy for myself, because it is just that good. thebacklistbook @jessinikkip tomatoes are the easiest thing to grow. They typically need 6 to 8 hours sunlight full sun to dappled is good. Starting from a mature plant is probably easiest for a first time. Small tomatoes are usually indeterminate though so you will need a tall trellis or cage to support them or do them from a hanging basket. Check the label on the plant. If they are determinate they just need a pot and maybe a stake. 2w

We have just had over 12 hours of thunder cells and super cells here. Youngest daughter woke at 2.30am and hasn‘t been back asleep. Eldest woke at 4.30 and hasn‘t been back asleep. Son child was up for most of it. Is parents dozed in and out when it wasn‘t over our heads. All I want to do today is rest! So we cancelled any appointment that couldn‘t be a phone consult and that‘s what we are doing.

Darklunarose @Gabbymags123 I‘m glad we are on the other end of it now…I love thunderstorms but this was intense. We are on a hill but there were a few places that had flooding in Adelaide yesterday. 6mo

Darklunarose @Texreader they usually love it! But after the huge storm last year that took the power out for 36 hours littlest isn‘t so fond now. The big ones (all adults but still) just were awake with the noise. My eldest loves watching it. She is the one who got the photo. I swear if she had a good camera she would be one of those weather chasers looking for photos. 6mo

Texreader @Darklunarose That‘s good to hear. I was terrified of storms as a kid. Now I just panic because we get giant hailstones here and once a baseball/grapefruit sized hailstone came straight through our living room window. We were cleaning up glass for ages and it was cold and hard to get the window replaced because everyone lost windows. Repairmen were tied up for days. So ugh. 6mo

Darklunarose @Texreader that‘s not what you want. And glass is do dangerous when it‘s little bits floating around! You would worry at every severe thunderstorm warning! Good for the repair guys, bad for the home owners. 6mo
