Tristan and Lancelot: A Tale of Two Knights | James Persichetti, L.S. Biehler

The romance is sweet, but the FRIENDSHIP between Lancelot, Tristan, and Morgan is my favorite! Magic, adventure, knight/Queen Gwen, and turning some of the original story on its head was super fun. 🗡️

Read two Graphic Novels this month. They were cute. I wouldn't mind continuing the story :) #DecemberReCap

4 ⭐This is an early chapter graphic novel. It is simply lovely. This is not my first Otis and peanut book but I think it‘s the first in the series. There are three mini stories. The second story the swing is heartbreakingly beautiful. It‘s about loss. Otis, misses Pearl. We don‘t know who Pearl is or why Otis misses them. We just know that Pearl is not around and Otis is sad. Peanut tries to help the best way that they can.

My last book, well, comic of the year 2024. And it makes a good ending. I love the Starros clan, but I mainly read it because I wanted more of Deva. And she delivered 💥 The story is by Justina Ireland, a name that makes my heart beat faster. I definitely need more in 2025 ❤️

TieDyeDude Ooo! I love Justina's Star Wars work. I didn't know Sana got her own series. 2mo
Jari-chan @TieDyeDude Justina's work is just too good! I don't know how many volumes the series about Sana is. This one is a collection of volumes 1-5, I think. 2mo

This reminds me of It by Stephen King; the story has the same sort of cyclic horror and abuse hiding behind a the facade of a “nice” town. Unlike It, the monster in loving is a religion (or cult), and the religion is a pyramid scheme, and it remains undefeated by the end of the story. That tension of the monstrous thing confronted but not defeated, just escaped, feels very adult.

Since I'm too sick to do my Vlog, here is my review: This series is wonderful and I absolutely adored the second volume! Planchette is still working to get out the ghosts in her house, Babs and Sun are working things out in faerie land and there's even a wedding! Great story and wonderful cute illustrations.

kspenmoll I hope you feel better soon! 2mo
