pickThis book is so cute!! It does remind me of The Babysitters Club series - there's a girl into fashion, one into sports, etc. They all join the coding club for different reasons & I love that the girls have interests outside of the club! The characters are in middle school but in terms of reading level and content, I'd say it's geared for grades 3-5. pickA librarian friend of mine started a STEM club for girls at her school and asked me to be her first speaker! I talked about how I got into technology, what I do and explained the basic idea of bits and bytes. They did a cute activity to go along with my mini lesson. So fun! And of course I had to bring a book to donate to the library. 😄 I love the paper cut outs and it's a great intro to the first woman programmer. #girlswhocode #raisingreaders
