so-soFinally, finally finished this one... overall, it‘s not the worst book I‘ve ever read, but IMHO, it is very boring with a weak plot. The character are mostly uninteresting, and at times the time skips feel like a crutch. However, the last 60 pages actually make the book worth reading and has some really beautiful lines and imagery. I give it 🌟🌟.. the ending is its saving grace... #pbc #genrebending @Wife

pickAt first the format distracted me, but when I finally made some connections, I was hooked. Atkinson's ability to move among the voices of each of her characters and bring each to its own unique fruition is masterful. Combined with unexpected plot twists and bizarre crimes, this hard-to-classify novel will keep you thinking long after you're done.
