so-so3 ⭐ This is a sequel book to Something Wrong. This book is fine. It‘s over long by a lot. One of the characters is one that I think talks to hear themselves speak. But they do it in the guise of helping their friend. That is the important lesson to learn. It also shows that someone can say they‘re fine when they‘re not fine, but at what point is the line of finding out what fine actually means.
pickHolly & Ivy (yes 😆) have been besties for years. When Holly's fiance calls off their wedding she convinces Ivy to do the honeymoon while Holly takes Ivy's planned solo trip to an eco-cabin. Both come to understand some things about themselves &, of course, both find true love. But the real star of this show is their enduring friendship. And the descriptions of the scenery in Kauai & the Hudson Valley. I'm dreaming of visiting both places now.

She ends up being in a community theater musical, a new experience for her. Friend drama & dealing with her grandmother & mother‘s arguments are stressors. Very responsible about mental health & normalizes therapy. A really good book that a middle schooler should enjoy.
pickOp shop scores from a wk ago at Salvos Charlestown. Sometimes I‘m lucky enough to find clothes that fit me in the kids section which means they are cheaper eg. The striped 👗. I bought it to wear to work as it‘s cotton & we don‘t have air conditioning in many rooms at 🏫. It was only $4 & is size 16 kids. I did a demi character in my last 🩰 exam as a kid to 🌅 Boulevard 🎶 so keen to 🎧 to that again after so long! The socks are for my nephew 🎣
