I just couldn't resist a #fancast for this book. And since the characters aren't really described in detail, I took that as an excuse to cast whoever I wanted. I would love to see this particular cast do a haunted house movie - especially with Taraji P. Henson in the lead role XD.
Finished Rise of Io today, and whoo, what a ride! It's the embodiment of my idea of the perfect summer blockbuster: fast-paced, action-packed, and with a great story built on solid themes so that it doesn't feel like a fluffy empty-headed piece at all :D. In the spirit of that blockbuster notion, I put together a #fancast of the major characters of the book. This is Part 1; Part 2 will be coming right up ;D.
