pickI think Brazzaville Beach by William Boyd is #aneeyorekindofread because it is all at once depressing, bittersweet and romantic. It is about a female ape-researcher named Hope Clearwater who finds herself caught in a civil-war within the Congo. Boyd is a masterful wordsmith and I have enjoyed everything I have read by him. #earlymorningselfie
