The farther I got to the ending the more I was afraid that it might disappoint me, but it didn't at all! Although I would've liked to see some of the characters come back in the end... but you can't have everything, right? panI was so disappointed by this final book in the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy. Both of the previous two books earned five star reviews from me, but this book has a ton of issues. Really wanted to love it, but just couldn't. So much melodrama and a wealth of characters who serve no real purpose in this book.

Oh my God... I am so bored & disappointed by this book that I'm resorting to clever selfies to keep myself awake. WTF??? I loved the first two books in the series, but this third one? I'm a little more than halfway through it, and it's a train wreck. The entire Eliza storyline is a checklist of bad-writing clichés. Laini Taylor is such a great writer, but not in this book.
