Saw Sam Kean at the Decatur Book Festival #DBF2017 He is a fabulous presenter. I loved his previous books. This one discusses gasses (including atmosphere and global warming).

The End of White Christian America | Robert P. Jones

Stopped by a talk on this book yesterday at the Decatur Book Festival on a whim. #DBF2017 The venue was packed and the author's presentation brought the info in the book up to date (from 2014 numbers to 2016) and discussed the election in light of his thesis. Was an enlightening and sometimes uncomfortable (in the best ways) presentation. I'll definitely be picking this one up to read.

Lightning Men: A Novel | Thomas Mullen

If you guys have not read Darktown I highly recommend it. The audiobook was terrific. Super excited to get to Lightning Men. #DBF2017

X-Files Origins: Devil's Advocate | Jonathan Maberry

This was the surprise of my weekend. I had read Mayberry' X-Files novel and got it signed but then ended up having the best conversation with him about the X-Files. Plus he reads all the same books I do. I'm definitely going to be picking up his other books now. He's a great guy! #DBF2017
