Final freezer meals for this weekend ~ Baked French Toast (Cherry & Blueberry) I have purposely tried to choose recipes from different sections of the book to provide a variety of meals as I begin to fill the freezer.

2 Santa Fe Hot Dips for the freezer ~ one for our mini getaway next month and one for my girl‘s getaway in June. I even labeled the pita chips so no teenager eats them!

A friend gave me 2 boxes of books for my Little Free Library. I saved this one for me. I doubled the recipe but split the meatballs up to make 4 meals.

Bookwormjillk I used to love the Swiss steak in this one (vegetarian now.) 8mo
Princess-Kingofkings @Bookwormjillk I‘ll need to check that one out. Thank you 👩‍🍳 8mo

What a great way for girls to see that they can do whatever they want in the world.

Master children‘s author Yolen shows a princess can be anything she wants, and she does not need to wear pink. Highlighting activities and skills that do not require a pink gown, each princess demonstrates the power to be whatever she wants and do whatever she wants - construction, play soccer, even hip hop in overalls. Fun read! Letter N for #BBRC #A2Z

Librarybelle @dwRavenPuff I cannot remember! It would seem very fitting! 4y

#gratitude #bfc
This week has been lacking quite a bit. I was able to practice gratitude every day, but only attempted meditation one time. While I made progress on the tagged book, I did not finish any books. Hopefully this coming week will be better. I plan to work on my goals a bit more closely.

#SpringIntoReading Day 3: #PinkBooks remind me of tagged story which celebrates the many princesses with sparkly crowns who unabashedly refuse to wear pink. Truly an empowering story demonstrating how princesses can be warriors too – while wearing overalls, driving dump trucks, and dancing the fox-trot in blue. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-jfa

Stretching | Jessica Matthews

Downloaded on #kindleunlimited. Great book about stretching. It is set up by area of the body and all the explanations are clear and come with drawings of the stretch that are easy to follow and understand. The end of the book has series of stretches recommended for different purposes ex. after work, before bed, for hiking, for tennis, during watching TV. Wonderful resource.

I liked the idea. Princesses who do non-typical princess things. But the rhyming text was interrupted by "and a sparkly crown!" each time, and it bugged me. Why do they have to wear crowns? Plus the rhyme interruption didn't work aesthetically.
