Fantastic run by author Brian Azzarello, tense and macabre as the best of Hellblazer. Gorgeous, graphic art, reminiscent of the author‘s original masterpiece, 100 BULLETS.
Essential reading for all fans of John Constantine.

I got a Constantine vibe from the lyrics of #runningacrossthinicewithtigers
Any excuse to have some Keanu Reeves.

Constantine sold his soul to the Devil.
This from hubby‘s shelves - please don‘t ever ask him about the film....
Reading while Parker eats sitting in my lap. #multitasking #constantine #hellblazer #graphicnovels
The library here apparently has a TON of Hellblazer graphic novels. I counted at least 30 listed on the website and requested these to begin with. #hellblazer #constantine #johnconstantine #libraryhaul
Gorgeous art undone by a script that just Never. Stops. Talking. Riley Rossmo is a phenomenal pick for a book like this, but his excellent character designs and atmospheric horror are frequently undermined by a script that just can‘t seem to let the art do the explaining. I don‘t blame Ming Doyle for this, as her co-writer - James Tynion III - has this problem regularly on his books. Promising, but disappointing.
This was such a great book. I loved the story and the artwork was really gritty and dark. It also had small bits of comic relief to balance out the very dark main character.
