Just what I needed-another series!

Seriously, though, this is a great thriller and the start of a new series featuring Matt Redd. Redd is a Marine Raider and in for a fight of his life.

If you like Jack Carr, Mark Greaney, or Lee Child I would recommend giving this one a shot.

BTW, I had 30 pages to go and placed the second book on hold. Glad I did, I'm hooked!

Using my new candle lamp for a summer candle!

Tonight's read is a fun romp with an ex-military operator.

My Cardinals are playing the Cubs so that's on in the background.

I'm really sleepy so we'll see how much of the hour I read before heading to bed.

DebinHawaii I am intrigued by the candle warmer. My asthma can sometimes be triggered by lit candles & the smoke/soot so I am thinking this may be a good alternative.🤔 Are you liking it so far? 3mo
Coffeymuse @DebinHawaii Loving it! My apartment doesn't want candles burning so I got a warmer to burn my candles. The one I got even has a timer so I don't forget about it. I got this one off Amazon. 3mo

This is a history of conspiracy theories centered on the United States, from the founding to the war on terror. It is highly disturbing, interesting and amusing, entertaining even, to see the lengths and mental acrobatics humans will go to in order to make sense of their world in a way which plays to their pre-established fears. While it‘s focused on the US, that‘s not to say that US culture produces more conspiracy theories than any other.

Audiobook for January. Not sure what to think, but it was much more on the conspiracy than I wanted, but it was interesting learning about the three secretive nondisclosure global groups of power players and discussions of historical development and international policy. Some quasi-espionage investigative journalism stories included. It was both super detailed with lists of members and big picture, without really providing needed clarity.

Ed Brubaker is a mystery master! I was planning on reading one of the three chapters but just read the whole thing. I'm not sure when book three is going to be released, so I might just buy the issues digitally...

Conspiracy theories are nothing new and especially not new when it comes to the US government. Dickey traces their development from the founding of the United States up to the present day. Tinfoil hat optional.

Even though I've already finished 2 of these 3 books, I couldn't resist posting this picture. I took it a few weeks ago while spending some quiet time in the backyard.

The Agathas series is probably one of my fave series now. They were so FUN to read!
