We hear much about the rise and fall and rise and (final) fall of Sirius Black, but Percy is not as well developed or redeemed. This letter he sends Ron is wrong on a lot of levels. But most sadly is Percy's complete obliviousness to the deep friendship that blossomed right in front of his ambitious nose. (No good pic of Sirius in the fire 🔥). Quick! Someone onto that!

I struggled with Hagrid in the films. We see so little of him, reducing his actions to reckless. I look forward to reacquainting myself with him through the books to see if I can reconcile my frustration.
