While I loved the show Sex and the City, I did not enjoy the book it was based on. But I did enjoy the YA books the author wrote about young Carrie, and the show that was based on those books.

So stoked there‘s a rock‘n‘roll symbol for the “pick” choice in this scenario because I really liked this book. This is the third book in my 2021 reading adventure and at first I was doubting my choice in books. Then, I gathered my much needed confidence that I am growing this and thought to the hell with it. I love the ‘Sex and the City‘ TV series- I thought to give this series a chance and enjoyed it. Totally recommend. And cheers to more heart.

Why this book: Received it as a gift
Carrie has a dream of joining a writing program in New York. However, she first has to get through her senior year of high school before hopefully getting into the program. When Carrie ends up falling in love, one of her friends betrays causing her to rethink everything. As she goes through everything, she learns to think for herself and becomes an amazing writer.

I loved the show and the book so sad that the show only lasted 2 seasons 😕😕😕 was so good and loved this book !!! Candnace !!! Start this series back up again it was good !!

Getting back into my night routine of reading before bed. I have been having better sleeps because of it!

Although a teen book, I‘m finding it to be a fun little read. Carrie still has her wits about her 🌃

So I tried the ebook version (first ebook) and can‘t do it! I so prefer the weight of a real book: just my preference.

Trying to get a hold of a hard copy but it‘s proven to be difficult! My library said it was “in” but they lost the copy 🤷🏻‍♀️Haven‘t read much these past few days....
