The literary world lost a good one this week. Brian Doyle is a beloved author here in the Pacific Northwest. He will be missed. Last Wednesday, in honor of his life and contributions, indie bookstore Broadway Books generously donated 20% of that day's sales to his family to help pay off the mortgage on their house.
