Wow.
4✨ The information in this one is so helpful! Everyone has something that they struggle with boundaries on. While I was reading I recognized many things that I didn‘t even know I should work on to have a more stress free lifestyle. By setting boundaries with the people in your life doesn‘t mean that you don‘t care, but it helps establish your own goals and peace. #Roll100 Aug

This was a very insightful and helpful book, I've learned quite a lot about myself and boundaries - mine and others.
There was good advice in this book. However, I wish there was more discussion of things to consider as next steps when family ignores discussions. I find it hard to believe that most people haven‘t tried talking to family about their actions. But if they don‘t listen, what next. Her other book, Set Boundaries, Find Peace was better in this regard.
Finished my 2nd book of #SummerEndReadathon ! This book uses Bible passages to guide individuals in setting boundaries in their lives. There were a few useful chapters for me, but it felt like a majority of the book was how to establish boundaries in raising children, which is not pertinent to me or my life. I've read other books on this topic that have been more useful to me. @TheSpineView
A good reminder that some relationships being temporary can be healthy.
What hurts us will not be our full story.
As we better grieve the sorrows, we will soon receive our tomorrows with a little more healing and a lot more life.
If we want recovery and healing, we would be wise to take a break or possibly make a clean break from the one wounding us.
