pickWhat an adventure we go on with Holmes, Watson and two men from Africa whose relationship is strongly reminiscent of that which we see in Holmes and his companion/roommate. True to Sherlock this is a smart mystery that makes for a fun and at times guns-a-blazing read! Definitely a reccomendation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The first two books in the Mayfair Witches series were almost perfect, but this one is the real deal. I could not stop reading/listening... I loved the witches (Mona and Mary Jane are fantastic characters), the peek inside the Talamasca, Rowan & Michael together again. I was slightly obsessed with Ashlar and the history of the Taltos. 😍 The story didn‘t quit, the writing was on point, and that ending! Omg 🥺

Warped, yet immensely readable, this tragedy follows a pair of sisters in Nigeria with a unique set of issues. What would you do to protect the one you love the most? Cliche but true--I couldn't put it down.

A great unputdownable romance story. I really like Smite and Miranda seems the perfect fit for him. Because this is a romance, you know it will have a happy ending. It doesn‘t make the story any less fun or nerve wracking. There is a lot going on and a lot of danger in this book.

pickWow. I can‘t believe I never read this book. Or saw the Olivier/Fontaine movie. I got this gorgeous illustrated copy cold during the Folio Society sale this year and I‘m so glad I did. I couldn‘t put it down! So I hit up the audiobook during my chores this weekend - the late, great Anna Massey was wonderful in her interpretation - and went back and forth. I recommend both wholeheartedly!
Halfway through this morning at work, I had to admit defeat and take a sick day - I‘m so congested! Started this (unputtdownable so far) book in a very hot bath with peppermint and eucalyptus oil.
