pickA collection of a critical texts/essays which were written during the collapse of Yugoslavia - war (1991-1995) and in the post-war period, are author‘s reflections - focused mainly on a (new) identity, role of intellectuals-writers and media, nationalism and criminality of war. This thoughts led to the fact that Ugrešić was declared in Croatia as a state enemy, traitor, whore and witch.
