Cute
Fun adventure. Easy read. Very entertaining. Alls well that ends well.
I haven‘t been doing many individual book reviews lately but it always comes as a surprise to me when I‘m the first to post about a book so I couldn‘t let the opportunity pass me by. All middle graders will enjoy this adventurous series, particularly reluctant male readers who prefer the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, dogs etc. (Of note: abusive stepdad). Adults who enjoy a good road trip or nature read will also enjoy this series.

Nonfiction about an expedition to kayak the Tsangpo Gorge in Tibet. It‘s a wild story and about more than just the river.
My husband, youngest son and I traveled to DC this weekend to participate in the Hands Off protest there. Current estimates at the moment are that 5 million people attended more than 1,400 protests around the world today. Keep the momentum going! We are the people—and we have the power! #resist
“We have to boil that first! she said. “What do you mean? Why do you have to boil it?“ he asked. “Because,“ Buzz told him. “You just drank water off the bottom of a giant bat toilet. That's why!”
Book 3 of 2025. Four stars for the story, which follows two boys growing up in an isolated tribe in the Amazon. The only thing I didn‘t like, explained in the author‘s note, is that almost everything in the story is made up - the tribe isn‘t real, some of the plants and animals named aren‘t real, and most of the language the “Takunami” tribe uses is made up. The story is based on an idea about unknown tribes in the jungle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you @TheAromaofBooks for the lovely card and the amazing sticker! I can‘t wait to continue this adventure with all our #BobWhiteBuddies !
