pickI did some #audiopaperwork this morning and finished listening to 84, Charing Cross Road! I loved the wittiness and somewhat irreverent tone of Hélène‘s letters and the replies she received from London. The fact that the whole situation revolves around books didn‘t hurt either. The ending was bittersweet, but it did not change my feelings about this correspondence. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
