This isn‘t a new series, but it‘s new to me. I‘m so excited to dive into an long series set in the National Parks.

Enjoying some strawberry basil lemonade and a mystery/thriller. I love quiet Saturday afternoons.
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

The newly promoted Anna Pigeon is headed from the high desert to the humid Deep South of Mississippi to be the District Ranger of the Natchez Trace. Soon she discovers the body of a teenage prom queen. The novel is filled with mysteries as the killer is tracked down. Is there anyone who willingly answer questions? I like this series. 4/5⭐️
The scene was Glacier National Park. The story had some interesting details about black bears and grizzlies. The characters were interesting and had lots of experiences in the Park. The park ranger, Anna Pigeon is researching and trying to track the bears. The bears are substantially smaller than Alaskan bears, yet large enough to be frightening. There is a murder to solve and mysteries enough to encourage the reader. 4-5
Anna Pigeon is working on 2 cases and getting beat up in the process. 1 is the murder of an abusive man (and he didn‘t go down easily and 2 is the cyber stalking of a friend‘s teenager. Fairly fast paced and entertaining but I had difficulty in believing the craziness of one individual 🤷🏻♀️
All of the books in the Anna Pigeon series are set in a national #park.
