I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

I needed a change of pace from other recent reads. This audiobook offered standard Quick characters and plot. It hit the right easy notes. It is a challenge for a single narrator to voice a variety of characters. Of course, I probably shouldn‘t listen at 2x speed then! A woman with a terrible secret and a wealthy man of the nobility thrown together to solve a murder and only The River Knows. Escapist fun and 3 of 4 ⭐️ for this soft pick.
I spent most of last week in bed dealing with a migraine and panic attacks and their aftermaths, so honestly, I haven‘t gotten much reading done lately. But I‘m grateful for the return of normalcy, and a quiet night at work, to get me back on the horse. Off to Burning Cove! #whenshedreams #amandaquick #burningcove #mentalhealth
Just finished Megan Abbott‘s “The Turnout,” but I didn‘t bring one of the three remaining in my Library Pile at home because I really didn‘t expect to be un-busy enough to finish it. 😂 So I continue to be stuck at four in the Library Pile because I just checked this one out. But it‘ll be a quick read, so it‘s fine…pun slightly intended. 😂🤷🏻♀️ #tightrope #amandaquick
Here‘s my review for another book I listened to on audio this month. I‘m counting this book for reading challenges that I‘m participating in this year.

A fun historical in which an earl hires a paid companion to pose as his fiancée, so he won‘t have to fend off matchmakers and husband-hunters while working to uncover the identity of a murderer. #scarathlon #teamslaughter #outstandingoctober #bookspinbingo #screamathon
It was wonderful, have read it over and over again. It's a book you can't drop until you 're done with it
Today‘s reading interrupted by a parade of baby geese (above the book).
Having read this story first a number of years ago I was delighted to find that it holds up well and is just as intriguing as it was the first time I read it. The banter between Tobias and Lavinia is wonderful.
