This is now one of my #alltimefavescare both in book and movie form now! I love how this book captures it's time and the Satanic Panic; I think Blatty did an amazing job finding the line between what some considered psychosis and others posession- leaving a big question mark on all of it. He also wrote wonderfully charming, witty, funny, and guarded characters! And, his voice for the audio is perfect!

It's one of the best books I've ever read. The writing is beautiful and brilliant, and the plot is chilling. I loved reading this one. This tranquil little scene from my neighborhood reminds me of their quiet, pleasant little town right before all hell breaks loose. #hallowreads
